Abstract Submission for Poster and Oral Presentations for the 2024 World Congress

Professional colleagues, students and experts working in health, physical education, dance or sport fields around the world are invited to attend, share, and present your research ideas and findings to members with similar interests. Scholarly oral and poster presentations are welcome. Please note that all presentations will be conducted in English. 

You are invited to attend the conference in person. In case you cannot attend in person, there is an arrangement for virtual oral presentations on 8 July. The in-person and virtual presentation time will last for 20 minutes (15-minute talk, 2-minute Japanese summary translation and 3 minutes for questions). Poster sessions will be arranged during the conference period. If you are invited to share your idea at the poster session, please note that you are expected to be present at the venue and share your ideas with conference participants during the poster time. The poster session will last for 60 minutes. 

Abstract submission is open from August 15 to November 30, 2023 January 15, 2024. Results of abstract submission will be announced by January 7, 2024, but will be ongoing from submission. 

Presenters must be or commit to becoming an IAHPEDS member before registering for the World Congress. You must be registered by April 8, 2024, for the Congress to ensure inclusion of your presentation in the program. IAHPEDS membership fee is $40 (U.S.) for professionals and $20 for students. You can download the abstract form as a Microsoft Word document. There are guidelines in abstract form to assist your submission. After completing the abstract preparation, please send the completed abstract form to steven.wright@unh.edu and to iahpeds.2024.japan@gmail.com email addresses.

When an abstract is accepted, an official letter of acceptance will be provided. The letter is necessary for some participants to apply for entry visas to Japan. Please visit the official website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan for visa information.
