July 5: Pre-WC Workshop: “Lesson Study,” including observations at a local elementary school and lunch included. Additional workshops included in the price are aerobics, games teaching and tech in PE. $30 USD
Opening Ceremony and reception starting at 6:00 PM
July 6: In-person oral, symposia and poster presentations
July 7: In-person oral, symposia and poster presentations/dinner at night
July 8: Virtual/Zoom presentations and closing ceremony
July 9: Optional excursion: A day trip hike at Mount Fuji.
Excursion is limited to 45 people and you must book before April 20, so do so soon. Payment will be in Japanese Yen, Y8,000/person, roughly $55 depending on exchange rate of the day. You will have to register for an account on the Peatix site/app. Click the link below.

The IAHPEDS Board of Directors and the Tokyo Organizing Committee have worked hard to make this WC affordable. The initial requirement is that all attendees must have current or new IAHPEDS membership. For all professionals, the price is $40 for one year. (All prices are in US dollars). Student membership is $20. (Use this link to join IAHPEDS or renew your membership.)
For WC registration, we will have a three-tiered system of payment depending on whether an attendee is from a high-, middle- or low-income country of residence. See this webpage for a country breakdown.

The Hotel Mets agreed to set aside rooms for our participants at a discounted/corporate rate. All of these rooms have now been reserved so if anyone wants to stay at this hotel, they will have to book/reserve a room on an online travel website.
